winter sky
showing me stars

blue cold snow
deep night glow

sharing the air
seeing the twinkles

x x x is sleeping
or is she up tweeting

she’s resting in bed
dreaming what she said

i’m still awake
and keeping you safe

connected at least
across barriers unseen

from now until dawn
we share the same sky

and all through the day
