Prediction: Wearable Internet Computing in 2010s
By John K. NeonThink about it. What could the next decade of computing bring? It really isn’t difficult to imagine.
If laziness is the mother of invention, which it often is, then taking my phone out of my pocket every time I want to check Twitter is far too clumsy. I want it projected in front of my eye, with some kind of discreet control pad on my arm or voice control… is that too much to ask? Well no, it isn’t. The technology is already here and by the 2010s it’ll be cheap.
Will people walk around with a strange screen projecting to their eye? If it is discreet, yes.
Don’t use an eye-screen and drive.
