Mind Mapping Goal Planner

I’ve always wanted a way to plan a goal quickly and easily. In the past the quickest way to create a brainstorm has been using pen and paper, and it works pretty good.

I wanted a goal planner so much that I even bought the domain treegoal.com in the knowledge that one day I could somehow learn how to program web apps! That didn’t happen, so I was excited to see this website called MindMeister reviewed on BBC’s Click technology program on TV.

This way of planning a goal is now faster than using paper. Any mind maps created are stored online to access from anywhere and can be shared in real time to collaborate with other web users.

MindMeister is free to use and to my surprise it works exactly the way I want it. All the features I was planning for my own ‘treegoal’ domain, they’ve done it.

It’s a winner because they have kept it delightfully simple which reminds me of Google’s applications.

MindMeister have done a really good job building this. I’m raving about it because it’s allowed me to brainstorm and plan a complex goal that would not fit on one piece of paper!

A cloud based mind mapping / brainstorming app online is something I wanted to make myself a few years ago to organise my goals.

Unfortunately I did not have the programming expertise, time or funds to build one. I was then excited to discover that Mind Meister had made a really good one!
